Tihar, also known as the Festival of Lights, is one of the most loved and colorful festivals in Nepal. For five days, people honor animals, celebrate their loved ones, and worship Goddess Laxmi — the goddess of wealth and prosperity.
It’s a festival that brings families together, fills hearts with warmth, and reminds everyone to celebrate the light within and around them.
This year, we wanted to bring that same spirit of light and togetherness into our workplace. And so, Tihar at Pari Cosmetics became a celebration to remember.
Getting Ready for the Celebration
Everyone came in with excitement that morning. We decided to decorate the office together, starting with marigold garlands and diyos. Some of us hung flowers, others helped arrange lights, and a few took charge of the rangoli area.
It wasn’t about doing everything perfectly — it was about doing it together. We laughed, shared ideas, and kept adding small touches until everything looked bright and cheerful. By the time we were done, it truly felt like Tihar had arrive.

Laxmi Puja and Good Wishes
In the evening, we all gathered for Laxmi Puja. Deepa ma’am took the lead. Everything felt calm and peaceful. We prayed for light, happiness, and good fortune for everyone in the team.
After the puja, we shared sweets, took photos, and made so many videos. The office was filled with good energy and laughter — it really felt like family.

A Day to Remember
We all came in our favorite traditional outfits — sarees, kurtas, and lots of smiles. Everyone added their own little touch to the day, whether it was helping with decorations, arranging diyos, or just making everyone laugh. Being together made everything feel simple, warm, and joyful.
Tihar at Pari wasn’t just about lights or decorations. It was about sharing moments, laughing together, and feeling thankful for the people we get to work with every day.
Here’s to more celebrations, more laughter, and more memories together.
