There’s something special about learning from someone who genuinely wants to see you grow.
For the third PARI Makeup Academy class, Dipa Gurung Ma’am decided to bring that learning a little closer to home. Instead of keeping the class only for students, she opened it up to her own team too, along with a few other students who joined us for the day.
For her, it was never just about teaching another makeup technique.
It was about making sure her team gets every opportunity to learn, improve and grow.
A Class for the Team
Dipa Ma'am has always believed that growth comes from staying curious and making the most of every opportunity to learn.
So this time, she sat down with her own team and taught the class herself.
It was a different experience for everyone — seeing your mentor not just as the person leading PARI, but as someone willing to sit with you, demonstrate, explain, correct, and share everything she knows.
And there were a few other students learning alongside us, making the room feel even more like a shared space for growth. 
Because There Is Always More to Learn
Even when makeup is something you work with every day, there is always something new to discover.
A technique you haven't tried before.
A small change in application.
A different way of looking at the same product.
Or simply a reminder of something you already know but can do a little better.
That was what made this class special.
It wasn't about who knew the most or who was the most experienced.
It was about being willing to learn and getting to learn from your mentor itself.
Growing With Every Opportunity
For Dipa Ma’am, giving her team opportunities like this is part of building something together.
She wants the people around her to keep learning, to keep improving and to become better at what they do — not just for PARI, but for themselves.
And perhaps that's one of the most meaningful parts of working with someone who believes in you.
They don't just give you a job.
They give you opportunities to become better.
This class was one of those opportunities.
A day to sit together, learn together, ask questions, practice, make mistakes and try again.
More Than a Makeup Class
When we look back at the third PARI Makeup Academy class, we'll remember the techniques we learned and the things we practiced.
But we'll also remember something bigger:
the importance of being given the opportunity to grow.
Because sometimes, growth doesn't happen through one big moment.
It happens through small opportunities — a class, a new skill, a question, a mistake, someone taking the time to teach you.
And we're grateful that Dipa Ma’am continues to create those opportunities for us.
